Engineering

Create is the spine

Every stage of progress runs through Create's machines. You start with a water wheel and a press, work up to brass, steam and mechanical crafters, then lay track between towns and build airships to fly over them. The rest of the pack feeds the machines or gives them a reason to run.

  • Infinite ore veins. Find them with a prospector and drill them with your own contraptions.
  • Trains and parcels. Stations, schedules, signals and a stock-keeping network.
  • Airships. Propellers, envelopes and a physics assembler, steered from a helm.
  • Hardness tiers. Iron, gold and diamonds need the right tome on your pickaxe and the Mining level to match.

The world

Lemurton, the capital

A walled city in the style of Varrock and Lumbridge stands a short walk from spawn, out of sight on purpose: your first login hands you a compass, and finding it is your first quest. Inside the walls are a market square round a great tree, a cathedral, shops on the ring streets and guards at four gatehouses.

  • Townsfolk with names and stories. More than thirty of them, each with a nametag and something to say.
  • A safe zone. Nobody can break, build or fight inside the walls, and no monsters spawn.
  • More capitals out there. Grand cities in five styles across the world, each with a name of its own.
  • A reworked world. Terralith, Regions Unexplored, When Dungeons Arise and YUNG's structures, with loot chests that are yours alone.

Progression

Skills like RuneScape

Fourteen skills, each from 1 to 99 on RuneScape's own experience curve. Attack lets you wield better weapons, Defence lets you wear better armour, Mining lets you break harder ore. Every level makes you a little stronger, and a tracker shows the XP as it comes in.

Adventure

Quests worth the trip

The quest book is a road map from your first tools to the End, thirty-three chapters of it, and every quest pays XP, coins and a roll on a reward crate. Lemurton's people have troubles of their own as well: their quests only appear in your book once someone gives them to you, RuneScape style.

  • The Ages: Landfall, First Rotation, Brass Age, Iron Roads, Skyward, Crown of Fire, Legacy.
  • Questlines for factories, farms, the railway, relics, enchanting, the bestiary and more.
  • Main quests: Cook's Assistant, The Knight's Sword and Dragon Slayer I.
  • Weekly missions for your Create works, paid in Coin Pouches.

Dragon Slayer I

Elvarg is waiting

The last of the main quests ends on the isle of Crandor, where a fire dragon in her prime sleeps on her hoard. Speak to Ned at the memorial below her hill and he takes you up to a lair of your own, so she's always there for whoever needs the fight.

  1. Get an Anti-dragon Shield from the mayor. It stops most of her breath and keeps her fire off you.
  2. Find the three pieces of the map: one bought, one bargained for, one won at the Champions' Guild.
  3. Fight alone, or open a co-op fight from Ned's window. Up to four of you, and helpers don't need the quest.
  4. If she gets you, nothing drops. Ned keeps everything you had at the memorial. No graves, no dupes.
  5. Bring her head to Oziach and earn the right to wear dragon armour.

Crandor

The memorial and the lair

A small monument at the foot of Elvarg's hill marks where the fight begins. It has a waystone, so touch it on your way up and you can come straight back.

Economy

Gold Coins, and vendors who buy anything

One currency, one stack, however many you carry. Quests and missions pay coins; every vendor in town buys whatever you bring and sells their own line. Prices come from what things are made of, so crafting never makes coins out of nothing.

  • Talk first. A vendor greets you on the first click and opens the shop on the next.
  • Buyback. Sold the wrong thing? Buy your last sales back for what you were paid.
  • Player trading. /trade swaps items and coins, with a deal timer so nobody pulls a fast one.
  • RuneScape numbers. Stacks read 2.3k, 45k, 1.2M, in yellow, white and green.

The armory

Gear, capes and relics

Create-made tools and five armour sets with full-set bonuses, every piece with a rarity, stats and a skill it needs. Capes are earned, never bought: finish a chapter, reach 99, slay the dragon. The legendary ones shimmer.

  • Tools that save hours: a Lumber Axe that fells whole trees, an Excavator's 3x3 pickaxe, a Prospector's pickaxe that smelts what it mines, a Builder's Wand.
  • Armour sets: Prospector, Aeronaut, Brass Duelist, Compacted Diamond and Compacted Netherite.
  • Relics from the Relics mod, some of them with set synergies.
  • JEI knows where everything comes from: a "how to get" page for every item you can't craft.

The rules

Hearts on the line

PvP is on and there are no land claims. Pick your spot with care, keep your valuables close, and settle things like adults.

Lifesteal hearts

Every death costs a heart, dropped where you fell for anyone to take. Run out and you're eliminated. Kill the same player twice in half an hour and nothing drops.

Graves

Your items wait in a grave where you died, for you alone, at the price of a Grave Essence. The heart never goes in it.

Waystones, not teleports

No /tp. Activate waystones in towns, on towers and at shrines and warp between them; the rest is trains, airships, horses and happy ghasts.

Fair-play maps

A minimap and a world map for everyone, without mob radar or cave maps.

Quality of life

Everything a click away

Press ESC: the menu is a hub for the map, quests, missions, skills, your backpack, your team, capes and voice chat, and every vanilla button is still there.

Proximity voice

Talk to whoever is near you. V for settings, O to mute.

The guide, in game

The whole wiki as a book. ESC, then Guide.

One click

A launcher of its own

The launcher is the only thing you install. It signs you in with Microsoft, downloads Minecraft, Java, NeoForge and every mod, keeps them identical to the server's, and updates itself. Press Play and you land on the server.

  • No mismatched mods, ever. It checks the pack in a second or two before every launch.
  • Shaders in one click: Lite, Balanced or Fancy, or off.
  • Repair and play re-checks every file; crashes show their last lines on the Home page.
  • Your password never touches it. Sign-in happens on Microsoft's own page.

How to join

On the server in five minutes

You need Minecraft: Java Edition, a Windows 10 or 11 PC and about 8 GB of memory to spare.

Download the launcher

Run LemurSaucePacket-Setup. It installs for you alone, no admin rights, and puts a shortcut on your desktop.

Download for Windows

Press Play and sign in with the Microsoft account that owns Minecraft, on Microsoft's own page. Your password never goes through the launcher.

Press Play

The first time it fetches Minecraft, Java and every mod, a few minutes on a normal connection. After that you're in within seconds, straight onto the server.

"Windows protected your PC"The installer isn't code-signed yet, so SmartScreen asks first. Click More info, then Run anyway.
Invite onlyThe server keeps a whitelist. Ask an admin to add your Minecraft name before your first login.
On a Mac or Linux?Import the .mrpack into Prism Launcher and add mc.limas.ca. See the install guide.

Questions

Good to know

Is it free?

The pack, the launcher and the server are free. You do need your own copy of Minecraft: Java Edition.

Do I have to download every mod myself?

No. The launcher fetches all 179 of them and keeps them identical to the server's. When the pack updates, the next Play installs the update first.

How strong a PC do I need?

Anything that runs modern Minecraft well, with 8 GB of RAM free for the game (the launcher gives it 6 GB). Shaders are off by default; turn them on in the launcher's Settings if your graphics card is up to it.

Can I add my own mods?

Client-side extras that the launcher lists as optional, yes, from its Mods tab. Anything else would put you out of step with the server, which turns away mismatched mods.

What happens when I die?

You lose a heart, and it drops where you fell for anyone to pick up. Your items wait in a grave only you can open. Lose all your hearts and you're eliminated. Deaths in Elvarg's Lair are kinder: Ned keeps your things at the memorial.

Is there land claiming?

No. PvP is on and nothing is claimed, apart from Lemurton itself, where nobody can build, break or fight.

Where's the wiki?

At play.limas.ca/wiki, and in game: every player starts with the LemurSaucePacket Guide, and ESC, then Guide, opens it anywhere.

Something broke. Who do I tell?

Tell an admin in game or on voice. If the game crashed, the launcher's Home page shows the last lines of the crash and can open the crash-reports folder.
